I’m just an average guy with an average life...

My name is Mike and I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan, a college town with a big university and a hundred thousand other people trying to find a place to park.

I work for the University of Michigan, in the Cancer Center at the Center for Health Communications Research. I’ve worked at UM since 1987.

But I want is to be left alone in my average home

I live with my wife Christie, our son CJ, our daughter Annalee, our dog Gina, and three cats, and some fish, and the occasional house spider that takes up residence in some corner or an other.

But why do I always feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone

My first love is for my family, followed by my motorcycle and my Macintosh. I enjoy political discussions, reading, camping, investing, gardening, and exercising (sometimes) too.
